Horse Riding.

Horse riding treks and clinics are available all year round from the riding centre Equinatur, right by Hotel Mas Pelegri. All levels and ages welcome. Horses range from a young stallion to well trained horses for jumping, western and dressage, so you will be matched with a horse that fits your ability and your requirements. You can choose between treks in the countryside, and lessons in jumping, dressage, western, or even rides in the buggy. There is also a small pony available for very small children.

Highlights include swimming with the horses in the local river, an evening buggy trip to a local restaurant, trek into the volcanoes, trek into the foothills of the Pyrenees, trek to the coast. Multi day treks can also be arranged. Families welcome. Everything can be customised to your requirements.

Equinatur is owned and run by Rafa Rodriguez, a National equestrian expert coach (Spanish Equestrian Federation, 1984, UNED University, 2005). He has been a national champion multiple times in both jumping and western. He teaches students to become equestrian coaches both locally and at the University of Girona and also coaches young children, teenagers and adults for local and national competitions in dressage, jumping and western. He enjoys taking guests around this beautiful area and explaining the local folk lore. Rafa speaks English, as well as Spanish. His team of friendly well trained coaches also speak good English. His students also win local and national competitions and guests always say they have had a great experience and have achieved much more than they ever hoped for.
